KINTO

Using Culture Insight to Accelerate Strategic Growth
The Challenge

KINTO UK, part of the Toyota family, is on a mission to deliver seamless and sustainable mobility services. As the organisation evolved and restructured, it recognised the importance of creating a connected, engaging culture to unlock performance and growth. The challenge was clear:

  • Understand how the current culture was helping or hindering strategy
  • Identify where the employee experience could be strengthened
  • Align leaders and teams behind a clear cultural direction
  • Build a culture that supports customer excellence, agility, and innovation

The Solution

KINTO partnered with dragonfish, where Lumin was used to take a data-led approach to culture.Using Lumin’s measurement platform, they captured a full view of how culture was showing up across the business—focusing on the alignment between Brand, People and Customer.
The survey, shaped around Lumin’s proprietary insight model, surfaced strengths and highlighted priority areas for improvement. Lumin’s dashboard helped leaders quickly see what was working, what needed attention, and where gaps in experience or expectations existed.
To deepen the findings, focus groups and leader interviews were run to explore the ‘why’ behind the data—giving real meaning and narrative to the numbers. The result was a clear set of evidence-backed recommendations and a cultural dashboard that brought the insight to life. KINTO’s leadership team then took part in an action-planning session to translate insight into practical steps, and shape a roadmap for culture evolution.

The Impact

With Lumin, KINTO UK now has a clear, shared understanding of its cultural strengths and challenges. Leaders are aligned around a data-driven culture story—one that links directly to their growth ambitions and customer strategy. Lumin’s insights have helped KINTO build momentum behind cultural change, strengthen employee engagement, and focus energy where it matters most.

“Dragonfish were very thorough and considered with their approach.
